My name is delia sarson and i live in malvern, worcestershire. I have owned newfoundlands since 1974 and have been a member of the newfoundland club ever since.

I bred my first litter in 1992 and have bred champions both in the uk and abroad. I have owned other newfoundlands who are winners of challenge certificates, reserve challenge certificates and junior warrants. I have also bred the only newfoundland in the uk who is a fully operational search and rescue dog with s.a.r.d.a and cann-tech.

I am a breed specialist judge and judge newfoundlands at championship shows in this country and abroad.

I only keep a few bitches and all of them are hip scored, heart tested and cystinura clear. I only have a litter every two to three years as i believe in quality, not quantity. I breed for type and temperament. All my puppies pedigrees are endorsed and when they go to their new homes they are insured and micro-chipped.

My daughter, Joanne (pictured above with Shankara and Gina) has grown up with newfies.  She made her debut in the show ring at the age of 9 years.  She qualified for the junior handler of the year finals at the age of 10 in which she showed a great favourite of hers ch karazan bollinger.  Since then, she has campaigned our newfies and has won cc’s and res cc’s. 

She has been judging for a while and is now on the newfoundland clubs’ “b” list.
